TIJ-UNODC Public Forum: People-Centred Justice Solutions

The TIJ-UNODC Public Forum: People-centred Justice Solutions will be co-organized by the Thailand Institute of Justice and the UNODC on Wednesday 3rd August 2022, 14:00 – 17:00 hrs. BKK Time.
At this special public event, a pledge to advance multi-stakeholder cooperation towards people-centred justice solutions will be discussed.
This TIJ-UNODC Public Forum is also a showcase event of the iCPCJ 2022 programme. A selection of collaborative proposals to advance people-centred crime prevention and criminal justice solutions in Thailand will be presented.
The specific challenges and proposals included:
- Getting the Right Start: Recognizing the Rights of the Children of Prisoners
- Supporting the effective reintegration of young offenders with assessment tool under the “Good Lives Model”
- Into the House of Blessing, a sandbox for collaborative justice
- Winning the People’s battle against phone scams in Thailand
